Default Ram 3500 Snow and Ice Behavior

I'm lucky enough to live here in Kansas where we just had the big ice storm and tonight they are forecasting over 7 inch's of snow that I get to go drive 100 miles in out on dark rural roads. The big pig as I lovingly call her did very well on the ice for weighing over 6000 LBS and having a suspension designed for hauling rather than cornering. I'll let you know how she handles after I get home this morning.

Exclamation

Just got about two inches of snow over a nice sheet of ice in the last 24 hours here in SW Washington.

I drove the new Ram about 75 miles in that stuff last night and didn't slip or slide one time. I've still got the stocker tires (265/70-17) and didn't even switch over to 4 wheel high for the first half hour. On a few stops, I felt the anti-lock breaks working a little, but that's it.

Having grown up in Missouri, I do know how to drive on ice/slush/snow and also know basic laws of physics... once you get a truck the size of ours moving, it's going to interesting trying to get it to stop IF it ever decides to slide.
