Question Power Loss During Regen

I have noticed aover a long period of time that there seemed to be a power loss during regen. I started to pay attention to my boost @ wot during regen. The result is a 8/10psi drop and comes back to around 34 psi @ wot after regen. Since the following is true;
Turbine power level changes are achieved by varying the position of the nozzle ring in relation to a set of guide vanes that control the flow through the turbine. An electrically controlled actuator positions the sliding nozzle over the guide vanes.
It appears that my superchips tuner is limiting the boost or it comes that way stock...Anyone else have anything to add??

I'm not ignoring you bud, but for 2 days now and I haven't been able to hit a Regen where I can get on her and see the boost numbers. I'm wondering if the Boost is being held back because the EGT's get to high and the ECM defuels the truck. Maybe tonight?

All right I see what you mean. Last night as I was heading through town toward the highway I started a Regeneration cycle so as I got on the on ramp I nailed her. As I rolled onto the ramp my EGT was at 780 F, boost jumped up to 30 and just as fast fell off to 16 and no more pedal input was possible and EGT screamed up to 1390. So I got off at the next exit and tried it again with the same results.

I conclude that the ECM is indeed defueling the truck to control the EGT and I'm sure that I've seen this in writing some where and see if I can't find it later tonight.

Right now I have a whole field of Elms that I dropped a few weeks ago that need cut up and burned.
