Default New Flashes today.

Last weekend while pulling the trailer, I noticed that at each stop there was a slight drivetrain shudder on start up. So today I let my dealer do the recommended re-flash. The tech installed three but they asked me ahead of time if I had any programs or chips installed. I didn't, so they then stated that the new flash might not accept some chips and programs, if I ever wanted to install one.
So, what they did was flashed the TCM from 05094827AE and performed Quicklearn (TSB 21-019-07). Flashed PCM to 55350435BA from 55350235AX and flashed CCN to 05172187AG.
We'll see what it behaves like when I hook up tomorrow.

Mine has done that since day one...I believe it is a common occurance with this truck. How much weight are you pulling??

I see that the PCM Flash is still at AX. That makes me up to date except for the new Bootloader software that will keep your truck from starting if some programmers are used. I have to say that it was really nice of them to ask before loading it just in case.

The PCM was flashed from AX to BA. As for the shudder it did not do that last year. I'm told that it is a torque converter clutch issue that the new flash sorts out.
The trailer we pull weighs in at 8,000 lbs loaded and we usually run with about 1,000 lbs in the box, so it's not a huge load for the truck.
