I have a Dodge Ram 2500 with 6.7. The EVIC will not hold soft memory after the engine is turned off for over an hour. Example, the trip defaults to odometer, the mpg defaults to compass/temp then when I change it to mpg it defaults to 15.0, every time. If the truck sits for over 24 hours the sat radio defaults to channel 184 which is the welcome station. The dealer has stated this has never happened before and Dodge has never heard of this problem and no one knows how to solve it. They have chosen to order a new EVIC (Electronic Vehicle Information Control) but they are out of production and I can not get one until Aug 1 which is about the same time my warranty runs out. Strange to be treated this way, I love my truck even though it has spent many visits for warranty work. I sure hope someone is familiar with this issue and can help me, thanks in advance.
