Default DPF that should have been used ....

This is a DPF our trucks should be setup with:

Notice how the regen target each filter pack and not the whole unit. Each filter is replaceable without replacing the whole unit .... Now that is thinking !! No extra fuel spent with post injection process .....

Geez I wish I could retrofit to this legally Still be clean and pick up an extra 3 MPG ...

I emailed them to ask if something like this would work in our kind of truck. Or is it meant to work only in the big rigs.

O.K., guys I'm finally back from Camporee (it's a boy scout camp). This type of camping isn't fun when you have to deal w/ 20 to 30 mph winds all weekend long.

This is what I told them: "Simple question. I own a 2007.5 Dodge Ram 2500, 6.7L Cummins diesel. Will something like this system (DPF) work in my kind of truck? Or is this only for the big rigs?"

This is there response:

"Lynn,

Our systems work on non-road applications – such as standby power generation (think big 2 megawatt generators) etc…

Sorry we can’t help.
"

Maybe one of you guy's can contact Cummins and find out if they can use a system like this and somehow incorporate it in to our trucks to make them better and somewhat more fuel savings.
