Default 2010 2500 fuel filter and oil

So I traded in the old 1500 Ram and got this 2 days ago. I'm looking at putting in a dual fuel filter system and maybe an air intake (easier to clean). Any suggestions on the Fuel filter?

In addition I'm looking for any info that would help me keep up on the Maintenance of this thing. Pointers and things not to do or things that will void the warranty. I plan on doing all maint. at the house.

Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome a board ! Nice truck, congrats. Happy New Year !

Fuel filter setups, you several choices and leaves of extremes ... Just adding a second filter to get down to 2 microns, here one link: http://www.cumminsownerz.com/f45/gdp-fuel-filter-installation-563/

If you want to go to the extreme (staged filter and water separation) and never worry about the crap status level of the fuel is, the above plus whats in the this link and you are covered: http://www.cumminsownerz.com/f45/filtering-project-733/

I would recommend adding a oil bypass filtration system, post injection filtration engines need it. Here is a link to what I think is one of the best around: BYPASS filters and data points ..

Cold air intake, many post on this site for various version around. Here is a link to the various discussions about cold air intakes: 6.7L Cummins Forum - Search Results

I am partial to Banks because of the intake point and large intake volume. The links are:
Housing: Banks Power | 07-10 Dodge - 6.7L Cummins>>Banks Ram-Air® Intake System
Scoop: Banks Power | 07-10 Dodge - 6.7L Cummins>>Banks Super-Scoop®

Also recommend an Edge Insight Gauge for the 6.7 with DPF. Lots of valuable info can be had that will save you tons of guessing and what the hecks ..... Various kits can be had to make it blend in with the interior as if it was made by the factory.

I also recommend look at this post: Service Books . Good docs to have.

Hope that helps.
