Hello everyone. I can't remember where I found the link below. It is a link to US government information on the things that affect the final cost of a gallon of diesel fuel. I especially like the part that breaks down the taxes paid per gallon (state, federal, city and local taxes) every facet of government has it's hand in our pocket when it comes to fuel. Here in La. I am not sure what it goes for because there is never any road maintenance done. This is the pothole storage area for the entire USA. All the other states send us their potholes for storage to be used at a later date. The roads here are so bad when an airplane flies over our state they go ca-chunck, ca-chunck, ca-chunck just like the seams in I-10. Somehow I thought road use and fuel taxes went in part to highway maintenance. Enough about the roads, we were speaking of fuel weren't we. Check out the webpage below, it is and interesting site.
