Anyway, I think I'm done with the truck as far as performance goes. My intention was to try and get the same MPG that I was getting in my Nissan Titan empty and I'm getting better (she's still over 18 MPG on the Annunciator so I'll be well over 17.5). Not bad for a 1 ton dually, Long bed, QC, 4x4. I don't participate in truck pulls nor do I race..................much, so the truck has waaaaaay more. umpf then I need to haul rock, dirt, water, live stock and large round bales so deleting something that is helping the environment is reprehensible in my book. I liken it to me pouring used motor oil in stream on my land, I know better.
I guess what it boils down to is when you get above the age of 45 you stop being so selfish and realize that the world is going to be spinning even after you're gone so you try to incorporate change designed to help the future rather then defeating it if at all possible (Screw ethanol!)...................end of sermon.
