Point taken and that has been taken into consideration. The last 3 vehicals that I have owned, The 96, and 85 3/4 ton Suburban, and a 69 Ranchero all have had air bags. Nothing to complain about at all, yet none of them had overloads on them either. The 96 is set up so that there is 0 psi in them with no load, if you did not know it had them you would never suspect. My issue is the height difference with the over loads and setting air bags on top of them, not enough room for a 0 psi unloaded ride. @ 5 psi on the 96 it lifts the rear 2", (That is where they say to run the minimum pressure, BS, IMO). I was looking for a leveling medium that would only work at the last 4" of suspension travel and no other time. Believe me it was not an easy choise to move away from air bags but I will probably do the Timbrens first and if it does not do what I need I will probably look for air bags of a lower capacity to install.
