One positive is no recirculated soot into the intake which will keep everything much cleaner including the engine oil. Also, by not allowing the super heated soot into the intake tract, this will keep inlet temperatures lower which will increase mileage and performance. The only negative I can think of is the cel may get annoying after a while.
