This is a topic that lead me to this forum actually.

I recently bought my 2007 Dodge and had a MIL and it flagged P2262 - No turbo boost mechanical.

After some research I started poking around under my hood. I read it was recommended to unplug the EGR and run the engine hard. But the MIL will stay lit because the EGR unplugged. I figured I'd unbolt the solenoid and tie it off to the side. Well my engine didn't want to idle then like that. I pulled off the entire EGR valve and peeked inside. I hated to see all the soot in my intake manifold!

I drove a few days with my EGR unplugged but the MIL light being on all the time concerned me. How would I know if something more severe would need addressed ?

Anyway - I'm researching what mods I can do. I saw H&S seems to be the one and only that sounds like they have a good handle on this. But before I start dumping $1500.00 in a mod - I want to get feedback and see if this pays off in the long run.

I found several units on EBAY but nothing that clearly claims to bypass the DPF and EGR w/o any problems.
