I took mine in to have the pto enabled and the dealer was going to charge me $30, for the service ,and scince I didn't buy my truck there ,I thought it to be fair,(although i feel all these fetures should be turned on to begin with) but they didn't charge me because the service tech turned it on, but it still did not function. Later I found out that on manual trans. trucks the ground wire for it is not connected at the factory. why they don't hook up the wires for the manual trans,?(I have no real clue, maybe it can accidentaly be put in gear?) after hooking up the ground wire ,mine now works great and once you start using it you wonder why they just don't turn them on to begin with.
