Howdy All,
Finished my filtration project and thought I would some pics
I purchased the XX kit, was working on making a similar bracket, but it would not come out this nice ... Something to be said for a stamped bracket verses vice bent

The kit consists of the bracket, baldwin heads, all fittings, hoses, and filters (filters are Donaldson P550847 and P551313). BTW, gotta love the water jetted logo/URL directly in the bracket
This shows Fleetguard FS1212, then Donaldson P550847. I added extra protection from what was supplied (this truck does farm/ranch life alot) The filters are mounted as high as possible and well protected by the transfer case:
I cut the fuel line as close to the aux cab heater bracket as possible. In the future I plan to use that mount for an external pump and all the connection points will be right there:
This is the last filter before the CP3 pump (rated at 2 micron on old measurement standards, will be replaced later with a Donaldson P551313:
This is what I have installed from tank to CP3:
Fleetguard FS1212 (25 micron absolute) [may do something different later in the 15 to 20 range ...]
Donaldson P550847 (10 micron @ 99%)
Fleetguard FS43258 FS-2 (5 micron @ 98.7%)
Cat 1R-0750 (2 micron absolute)
This makes for one clean as possible beyond all belief no matter what you stick in the tank

The also allows one to run a higher bio mix with the progressive water separation. Next thing to be done is start adding Fleetguard Platinum Plus to the fuel. Waiting for our local Cumming Shop to stock it. Enough of us got together and complained so the local shop will start stocking in next week.
BTW, XX advertises the P550847 filter to be 8 microns ..... its 10 at 99% according to Donaldson's own docs.
