Default Memorial Day

Headed north for the holiday to Morrison,Co to spend a few days in a friends driveway, then back to Angel Fire, New Mexico for the Memorial day event at the Veterens Memorial to honor a fallen friend, Can't remember the name of the campground across from the airport in the valley though, got reservations for Sunday night.
God Bless our Vets.
I'd be extremely proud if everyone would take a few moments this holiday weekend and think about, thank and pay special tribute to all of our Veterans past and present.

It is the
VETERAN,
not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the politician,
Who has given us the right to vote.

It is the
VETERAN who
salutes the Flag,

It is
the
VETERAN
who serves
under the Flag,

ETERNAL REST GRANT THEM O LORD,
AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON THEM.

To all of you VETERANS out there,
Thank you for your dedication and service.
