I realize this is an old post I am digging up, I just thought this should be addressed. Diablosport makes the Predator programmer you spoke of. Currently they offer the
Extreme Power Puck for our pickups. The readings from the overhead units on these pickups is generally not very accurate. Hand calculations are the only way you will truly see what you are getting for fuel economy. If you are willing to deal with a check engine light I would recommend looking into disconnecting the EGR valve. That alone has been seen to net some people up to 3MPG. Another option that you could look into is the
Smarty S-67 Programmer This version is setup to work with the DPF and EGR systems intact. If down the road you decide that you would like to delete either of these systems, all you would need to do is download the S-67ME software off of their website. I have heard recently that Quadzilla is getting ready to start selling a programmer for trucks running with the DPF and EGR systems intact.
Hope this helps some.
