Well..... We are changing the name of the BBQ contest here in Rio Rancho to the Pork and 'Blow'.. Sustained winds all day on friday of 40 to 50 MPH caused damage and discouragement. The main judging tent (40' X 100') Blew down, We were set up about 15' from it and all we could do was watch. Any way, on a lighter note; we had our best overall finish at this contest, 21 out of 66, best finish on ribs and brisket here too.. over all very successful, cooked alot, learned alot, drank alot, made some new freinds and are looking forward to doing it again next year..
