Very easy to install, including the added steps I went to make it look OEM. Does not effect warranty to the best of my knowledge (at least our dealers has been happy about with no complaints, same applies to oil bypass filters). It is a Cummins factory filter.

One thing that people do not know and Dodge says nothing about, warranty does not cover damages from fuel contamination. A lot of people are finding that out the hard way on the 6.7's and the repairs bills in are the about mid 4 figures.
