Here we go. The 7th annual Rio Rancho Pork and Brew BBQ contest, for me it begins this after noon.
We will be moving into our site this evening and will begin to cook for the judging school tomorrow morning at 4 AM. Things should wrap up around 6 PM on Saturday, then it all has to come back to the house and be put away.
The weather looks better this year than last. Should be in the low 60's and marginal winds. Last year it was in the low 40's and the wind, snow and rain kept people away. Should fair well this year and as always we will have a great time, possibly get and award or two (Hopeful thinking).. Wish us luck and we'll be back on Monday..
