Did my first one at 4,400 and whoever decided to put the oil filter where they did should be beaten. I had to remove the wheel well shield to finally break mine loose and get it out. Lots of hard A/C wiring right there too. The oil filter location is about the only thing I miss from my 6.0 PowerStroke.

On the bright side, went to Harbor Freight yesterday and got a set of oil filter removal tools that slip on the bottom of the filter and you can use a 3/8 drive ratchet with extension to remove it. I haven't used it yet and you know how Harbor Freight tools can be, but it gives me hope for the next time.
