Default Hypertech Programmer

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 4WD 6.7 and 68RFE. I have had the Hypertech for about 6 months and like the power but they don't have the option of changing trans. shift points or firmness. The shifts are mush with the Hypertech and when the torque convertor locks up it doesn't lock right away it feels like it engages slowly slipping all the while under any throttle setting. Just as a check to see whether it was a trans problem or the program I returned it to stock and the shifts firmed back up. Load the Hypertech back up and the shifts are back to mush. I usually let it shift up to 4th gear with the convertor locked before I roll onto the throttle. There is a strong power increase with my truck, it seems like it accelerates as hard in overdrive as it does in 4th with the stock programming. With the EGR unplugged Volant filter with scoop and 5" exhaust from the DPF back I average 17.5 combined and 20.5 on my last trip to Houston from Lafayette, La. with considerable stop and go driving on I-10. I like the Hypertech power but hate the shifts. I am leaving the it stock until I get a shift kit installed then I will re-load the Hypertech. I am going to contact Hypertech support to see if anything can be done about the shifts.
