Squid,

I have been told that 300 degrees is the recommedned temp for shutdown to prolong the life of the turbo. I have purchased the Issapro turbo temp monitor instead of a turbo timer based on your previous comment. I just installed my Edge Insight gauges with the pyro and boy am I glad I did. My old 5.9 temps rarely ever got above 900 degrees. My new 6.7 I am seeing 1200-1300 at 65 MPH on highway in a head wind. According to the Edge Regen was not running at the time. I am scared to death to see what it will read when towing my 15k trailer. What are normal EGT's on this motor and what are high EGT's on this motor? The pyro I will be installing for the turbo temp monitor is post turbo approx. 2-3" behind the turbo on the elbow. Thanks for your help
