Fast idle from what I remember does not work on all manual transmission setups. There is something about a sensor that needs to be "jumpered" or something like that. I do not remember if that is a sensor on the tranny for manual or the sensor plug that goes to the automatic which is not used on manual and their is a jumper plug in it. Bottom line, in a auto, the cummins computer knows the tranny is in park, on manual it knows nothing or getting nothing back.

When I get a chance this weekend, I will looks the shop books. It should be on the CD based manuals.
