Let me get this straight. I am presently paying Cummins $38 and change CDN for the original style screw in Fleetguard fuel filter and they want me to pay extra, the next time, for a canister and cartridge and then pay the same amount that I presently pay, down the road for the cartridge. On top of that I'll now have to mess with the canister. Such a deal and great progress!!!
I've never understood the reason for all the bitching about the fuel filter in the first place. I timed my last change about 3 weeks ago. It was under 8 minutes. The fuel filter change is far easier to perform than greasing the front drive shaft! Just MHO.
