Default Air ride 5th wheel and liner

Howdy All,

Finished the last of bed projects on the 3500 and here are some pics.

Installed a hitch rail (royal pain), new liner (duraliner, modular liner) and a new air king pin / gooseneck.

Pics:

With the cover rolled out and sealed ...

Cover open, over view ...

The air ride king pin / gooseneck unit is rated for 30,000 lbs and 8,000 pin weight, contains auto height control and dual pivot points (great for 4x4 and ranch use). The king pin un-bolts out and a gooseneck plate bolts in, thus allowing for more than one purpose. The unit weighs in a 300+ lbs.

Plugs ...

One for the control unit and power to the pump, the other for trailer. All pins wired so plugs interchangeable.

Close up ...

Cutting the mat was a royal pain, left it in the sun till very hot, measured a dozen times (cut once rule) . Once done, slid right into place with a 1/8" gap all the way around the rails.

Very happy with the Duraliner, like the modular approach better the one piece unit. Especially like the rubber mate more, much more comfortable to sit on and work.

Between the air hitch and front of the bed, still have ample room to insert our two large dog carriers for our mastiff with king pin in use

Any questions, let me know, happy to share more about the parts and install.

Cheers all,
Roberto
