Yup, it's all about exercising the turbo. A few wide open throttles help a lot...Like squid said, if it's a different code let us know...We are here to help

If I knew the code I would be more than happy to provide it. Reading the posts, it looks like this works on 07 models, but I haven't seen a post of it working on an 08. I have tried it several times. It don't work on my truck. What RPM's "slide the vane"? On the "on ramps" I have been accelerating fairly heavy, getting RPM's up to 2800-3000 and I have been using the exhaust brake. Both times this has occurred was just after trailering. The truck doesn't run any different, it still runs just fine. I just have this CEL and whistle when I start it now. Going in to the dealership again Monday, going to have a long talk with them. Maybe they can tell me how to get the code. Question: Will this CEL ever clear itself if a condition is cleared or is it on until the dealer clears it?
