I noticed that you didn't compare when the OEM is in towing position...

For me the OEM, spot is in the wrong position when flipped. I was thinking of switching the glass from side to side..ie: place the drivers glass on the passenger side.

This would move the 'spot' inward and allow better viewing on the outside of the mirror..(hope that make sense).

Any ideas on removing the glass portion only and swapping them???
