On my Nissan Titan I went down to Walmart and bought a clean new pan and filled it wit fluid. I then took the return line off the Transmission Cooler and attached a clear hose to it and dropped the end in the fluid. I then took the SOURCE line off the cooler attached a hose to it and dropped the end of that in another pan. Then I had the Queen start the truck and when the fluid coming out of the Source line started looking new I had the Queen shut the truck off, secured the lines and topped her off. I've now driven her another 60,000 miles.

I know this may sound funny but this was the procedure that Nissan had in their Service Manual and as long as the fluid going in doesn't get dirty or run dry it's a flush.
