Default Fuel Filter Install

Squid,

Thanks for your installation instructions. Here are some of my notes. I would appreciate any comments.

15 minutes? Yeh right. It took me 15 minuted to find the hole for that last left over 5/16th screw. Indetation toward the engine and driver.

I tried to drain the filter through the tube into a bottle, but it was so slow I kept unscrewing and finally had feul all over the floor. Is it supposed to be that slow?

I got the filter from a dealer. The instructions said to turn it 1/2 inch after contact. I couldn't tell when it contacted within 1/2 inch. I took your advice and gave it a half turn. Used no more than hand strength. So far no leaks and it runs. Is there any filter that only requires 1/2 inch after contact? Must be a typo?

1/2 hour to find filter perveyor, 1 hour to purchase filter, at least 1 hour to install filter, and at least 15 minuted to find where that last screww went (it dark in there).

Thanks, Hux
