Ran into something yesterday that was a bit concerning ..... The unit claims being able to change power levels on the fly .... So I did. Went from stock to tow with no issues, all ran well. Went from tow to performance and everything ran well for a while. Then at 70 MPH, the truck started to hick up and buck .... I really mean hick up and bucking like a bull ! Left alone for about a 1/2 mile thinking the ECU needs to adjust and compensate, but that was not the case. Went back to stock, and after a minute or so, all was well again. Not good ! Especially if one is towing at that time !
Side note, today I started playing with the Edge Insight unit. Goal is to find a OBDII setup that monitors factory EGT sensors already installed. Edge does it differently so I working on decoding the list since they refuse to 6.7L specific codes and Bully triple dog does.
Nice thing about OBD gauges, want to experiment, switch gauges on the fly and keep testing
Waiting for Bully to get back to me on the issues.
Cheers,
