Yesterday, I read somewhere on one of the Cummins forums that there is a new flash released on the 4th for '07 and '08 6.7s. It supposedly addresses the soot issues with the DPF and EGR as well as some idle and drivability issues. I can't find the thread. Does anyone have the info?
As well there was a recall issued on the 4th for 6.7 trucks to deal with a loose or sagging silencer pad that could contact the EGR Cooler and cause a fire. It is ID # 08V641000.
