Almost done
Here a few photos of the 'almost done' air system project. The "Cheepo" compressor did the job but the duty cycle will kill it in short order. The solution was to convince my wife that we needed air horns on the truck and that would require q much larger and better compressor, She agreed. I picked up a set of Klien 2 chime train horns and will try to figure out where to put them for maximum effect next week. Mean time the compressor replacement is complete with a 5 to 20 Gallon air tank to be located next week as well.
The compressor is a Viair 450C, 100% duty cycle, the control is Viair as well set for 135 psi on 150 psi off, 1 Gallon air tank. The Ride-rites and the auto leveling valve work for dragging the 5'er around real well.
